There are sometimes really nice pieces of British cheddar here (in Czech republic) in shops aswell, so, I can buy it too - which makes me really happy:)
It remins me I haven't been to cheese shop for such a long time! What a pity...
Cheddar from supermarket isn't such delight as the one from cheese shop:)Blankahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05624753457354376588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3747432130041051386.post-53058150059628889202011-09-10T05:05:00.676-05:002011-09-10T05:05:00.676-05:00It's 6am and my mouth is watering, lol. (Which is a little embarrassing seeing as eating "healthy food" is a huge part of what I teach people).Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13195769716437296304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3747432130041051386.post-18573018047238742952011-09-09T18:48:38.706-05:002011-09-09T18:48:38.706-05:00So nice you have local raw milk cheese This chedd...So nice you have local raw milk cheese This cheddar sounds delicious and I like your list of cheese recipes. The flavour is so very different to the bought variety.
One day I hope to have our own house cows to milk. Imagine all the lovely cheese, yoghurt and butter then :). xZarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09577592390723365734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3747432130041051386.post-21305427883952838942011-09-08T17:33:17.399-05:002011-09-08T17:33:17.399-05:00I am all for the benefits of raw milk. I have noticed that better-tasting (IMO) cheddar cheeses are much harder than, say, the orange block of Kraft from the grocery store.Karen/Small Earth Vintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08077078663239991329noreply@blogger.com
